An Unethical Broker is one who arranges mortgages, or pretends to arrange mortgages, which are not in the interests of the borrower or the lender. A classic example is when the broker knows something about the borrower or lender, which, if known and appreciated by the other party would result in the loan not proceedings, but withholds that information anyway. Another example of an Unethical Broker is a broker whop asserts the right to brokerage even if the loan does not proceed, especially in circumstances where there was never any true intent or possibility that the loan would proceed.
